Hey everyone! We will have the BCA captains meeting tomorrow at 6:30 at the Eagles. Please bring in dues for each player. Also, if they do not have a Fargo rating, be prepared to help establish a good starting rate for everyone. If you can’t make it please reach out and I can meet you and pass on the information.

Thank you to the 16 players that showed up for the very first Chip 8 ball tourney today. We played on four tables and were done in 4 1/2 hours. Fast, furious and tons of fun!
We are planning on doing one tourney a month because everyone loved it! It’ll sometimes be 8 ball, sometimes 9 ball and sometimes scotch doubles. Stay tuned for more info.
Also a big shout out to John & Bobbi Gies for taking the time to run the tourney and to help us to learn how to run it and to the Eagles for providing the free taco bar.

Tomorrow, join us at the Eagles for a pool tournament. Sign-up starts at 11am, followed by play at 12pm. The format is a “Chip” tourney, characterized by swift and intense competition with brief intervals. Your participation will help establish this as a recurring event, so come and enjoy the experience. Admission is $10, and a free taco bar awaits.

Looking forward to the tournament next Saturday. I just wanted to make sure that everyone knows that this is a tournament open to everyone and not just those interested in BCA. I would also like to make sure that everyone is aware that this is just another league. It is not intended to hurt other leagues. It is a 4 man format so you get to play 4 games each night and you get $4.00 per win. Most cities have both BCA and VNEA and there is never any rivalry. That is not my intention. I just want people to stay interested in billiards and always look forward to playing in a league. I am also going to put together a Junior BCA League starting in January so if you know of anyone that would like to play, please have them contact me. Right now there are two establishments that are willing to host weekend morning league play for minors. This will be a 2 or 4 person league format depending on how many are interested in playing.
