🚨 PRACTICE CANCELLATION – TODAY 🚨

Due to the inclement weather, all football and cheer practices scheduled for today have been canceled.

The safety of our athletes, families, and volunteers is always our top priority.

We look forward to seeing everyone back at the field tomorrow, Wednesday, July 29!

Parents: please make sure you are in our Band group as any additional updates, they will be shared there.

The season is OFFICIALLY underway!! 🖤🩶🏈📣🌪️

The first week is here, and we couldn’t be more excited to kick off another season of hard work, growth, teamwork, and Cyclone pride!
From our first-time athletes to our returning players and cheerleaders, we’re so excited to watch everyone grow this season.

📢 Parents: If you have NOT received the Band app invitation, please send us a message ASAP! Band is our primary form of communication this season and is where practice updates, announcements, schedules, weather changes, and important information will be posted.

Now’s the perfect time to grab your Cyclones gear and show your team spirit all season long!
Be sure to get your orders in before the deadline.

Reminder: Equipment handout today from 5:30-7:30 for tackle football players and uniform sizing for all cheerleaders.

1st practice starts tomorrow (Monday July 27th @ 5:30 pm) with a mandatory parent meeting at 6pm at the pavilion.

Haven't signed your child up yet? Are they still on the fence and not quite sure if they want to play this season? Bring them to practice Monday... Meet the team and the coaches and then let them decide. Sign up deadline is August 1st.

📣 IMPORTANT UPDATE 📣

Due to the forecasted weather, Tuesday’s Football Equipment & Uniform Sizing Night has been moved to Sunday.

🗓️ New Date: Sunday
📍 Location: Derry Decatur Field 5:30-7:30

This will take the place of Tuesday’s scheduled handout.

🏈 Practice officially begins NEXT WEEK!
We can’t wait to kick off another exciting season with all of our Cyclones!

📢 Reminder: We will also be holding our mandatory parent meeting during the first night of practice. At least one parent or guardian from each family is expected to attend as we’ll be covering important information for the upcoming season.

📣 FOOTBALL & CHEER SIZING NIGHTS 📣

The season is getting closer, and it’s time to get everyone ready! 🏈📣

Join us at the Derry Decatur Field on ONE of the following dates:

📅 Tuesday, July 21
📅 Wednesday, July 22
⏰ 5:30 PM–7:30 PM

What to expect:

🏈 Football: Players will receive their practice equipment and be sized for their game uniforms.

📣 Cheer: Cheerleaders will be sized for their uniforms.

Please note: All athletes may still participate in sizing; however, registration fees must be paid in full and volunteer checks must be submitted before football practice equipment can be issued or any game uniforms can be ordered.

🎟️ We also still have g*n & cash raffle tickets available! If you’d like to purchase one (or a few!), we’ll have tickets available during both sizing nights.

🌪️ Registration is Winding Down! 🌪️

There’s still time to join the Derry Decatur Cyclones for the upcoming football and cheer season — but don’t wait! Registration will be closing August 1st!

Group levels:
🩶 Flag: Pre-K & Kindergarten
🤍 P*e Wee: Grades 1–3
🖤 Midget: Grades 4–6

Being a Cyclone is about so much more than football and cheer. It’s about learning, growing, building confidence, making lifelong friendships, and becoming part of a community that supports one another every step of the way.

We can’t wait to see our sidelines filled with new and familiar faces as we kick off another season full of Cyclone Pride, growth, teamwork, and unforgettable memories.

If you haven’t picked up your child’s G*n & Cash raffle tickets yet, please stop by the field during tonight’s sign-up from 5:00–7:00 PM.

These tickets are an important fundraiser for our league, and we’d love to get them into your hands as soon as possible.

If you’re unable to make it tonight, please reach out so we can make other arrangements.
