Indian Lake opened the season last night with a 6–0 loss at Calvary Christian.

Our young team showed some encouraging signs, staying together and showing that we can suffer and defend for long stretches. In the second half, we improved in possession and created some promising attacks, but Calvary’s experience and firepower were too much for us.

A difficult opening test, but plenty to learn from and build on.

Indian Lake High School Boys Soccer is still welcoming players for the 2026 season.

Any student interested in playing is invited to come out, meet the team, and try a few sessions. You do not need to make a commitment before attending, and players with limited experience are welcome.

We have two-a-day sessions remaining through Friday this week at 9:00 AM and 6:30 PM.

Official team practices begin next week and will be held weekdays from 3:00 to 5:00 PM.

Our games are primarily Mondays and Wednesdays, with a few Saturdays.

We are building our program and looking for dependable athletes who want to learn, compete, improve, and be part of the team. Come give it a try and see whether it is a good fit.

ILHS Boys Soccer Mini Camp begins next week!

Training sessions will run Monday-Friday (6/1 - 6/5) from 3:15 PM - 4:45 PM at the HS practice field. Players should arrive at least 10 minutes early so they are prepared to start on time.

Rain or shine, we will have training each day. If there is inclement weather, we will move indoors.

Any updates will come through TeamStack.

If you have not joined the TeamStack app yet, please do so ASAP. The group name is “ILHS Boys Soccer”. This is our primary source of communication for schedule updates, weather changes, and program information.

We’re looking forward to getting the group together and continuing to build momentum heading into the season.

Just a reminder that soccer sign ups for Huntsville (K through 6th) and Indian Lake Junior High (6th, 7th and 8th) is this Saturday, May 23 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and Tuesday May 26 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Huntsville Lion's Park. The fees for this year are as follows:

Youth 6U through 12U:
~Player Fee: $20
~ Additional Siblings: $15 each
~Shirt: $18
~Shorts: $10
~Socks: $8

Youth can wear the same uniform as last year if it is still in good shape and fits the child.

Junior High:
~Player Fee: $35
~Jersey: $28
~Shorts: $12
~Socks: $10

IMPORTANT UPDATE!!

The US Youth Soccer Association has made a decision to return to a "seasonal year" as opposed to a "calendar year" when determining what team your child should play on. The Logan County Youth Soccer Association has elected to follow this same directive. This will help align teams with grade levels.
