🏒💙A message from Coach💙🏒
To ALL of the Lewiston MAINEiacs Community:
We had 28 days to recruit and build a team for the 2025-2026 season and we couldn’t have asked for a better opportunity than what the boys gave us this year. Today, as we wrap up with end-of-season meetings and I sit here looking at an empty locker room, I can’t help but smile at the incredible achievement these players made.
To the staff, from the coaches to ownership, front office, rink staff, food and beverage, game day staff, camera crew, video crew, broadcaster and Ram photography, thank you for your hard work and dedication this year. Thank you for riding the highs and lows with us, for adjusting on the fly, and for making an incredible experience for the players and fans. The team's success this year was made possible because of your passion and efforts.
To our sponsors, thank you for your hard work this year supporting our players. Thank you for team meals, various events, food on the road, cheering and supporting game day. You provided the fuel and support that made it possible for these guys to be performing at their best this year.
To our fans, your undying support for us this year. You showed up and helped create such an exciting atmosphere for the guys to play in and it was truly special. It always felt like we had an extra skater out there with your energy and presence at home games. Through the highs and lows of the season, you never wavered. Your passion and commitment is something we can’t thank you enough for.
To the players, it was truly special watching you develop and grow as young men this season. Watching you meet adversity head on and take on different challenges a season brings all while finding a positive outlook, was inspiring. You committed to being a part of Lewiston- volunteering your time and energy whenever and wherever it was asked and you found joy in connecting with the people of this community. This is something I am most proud of. You started the season 2-5-1 and finished the year 41-10-7!! You showed what can be achieved through hard work, dedication and commitment. I couldn’t have asked for a better group of young men to coach in my first season as a head coach. You made coming to the rink enjoyable and showed a true love and respect for the game we all love and for the guys who were on the ice with you.
To Lewiston, you have always been a special place for me. My heart holds many memories that I will have for the rest of my life. Watching the players get to have their own Lewiston experience this year is something I was happy to be a part of and I know it is something that will stay with every single one of them. All I can say is thank you to everyone who made this year in Lewiston so special. We all wish we could be getting ready for another practice or game right now but unfortunately, this concludes the 2025/2026 season.
Thank you Lewiston ❤️
Coach Labrie
