Crate Training🐾

This about more than just teaching your puppy where to go.
At Puppy Steps, we teach our puppies that the “crate” command means going into their crate and staying there until they hear their release word, “OK!”

By using clear commands, positive reinforcement, and lots of patience, puppies learn to enter their crate confidently instead of rushing in or out.

It’s the type of command that teaches patience, self-control, and good manners that carry over into everyday life!

There’s nothing better than seeing all the hard work pay off! 🐾

When your puppy comes home from Puppy Steps, they’re coming home with so much more than a few new skills. They’ve spent weeks building good habits, learning important commands, gaining confidence, and developing ALL the proper skills they need to thrive at home.

A well-trained puppy makes all the difference, and we love being part of that journey!!

Jokes aside, we really do have some of the best trainers around!🐾

Our trainers put so much time, patience and heart into every puppy, and we want our owners to feel like they’re part of that journey too. That’s why we keep puppy journals throughout their training, sharing their progress, daily moments, and milestones so owners can be there every step of the way.

We are pretty lucky to have the team we do!!🤍
