The LC State Trap and S***t team made it back from Texas Sunday evening. Here are some of our favorite photos from the National Shoot down in San Antonio. Each team member shot over 600 targets throughout the week. We also took a break from shooting and met up with the University of Idaho’s Clay Sports team for some go-kart racing. It was a fun week of shooting and we are looking forward to coming back to Texas in the future for the National Collegiate Clay Target Championship.
We also had two shooters, Alex Powers and Gunnar Miller, competing in the Camas Prairie Championship this weekend in Walla Walla, Washington. It’s been a fun and busy week for the LC State Trap and S***t Team!

Dax Wareham shot 25,24,25,24; 98/100 on trap singles at the National Collegiate Clay Target Championship in San Antonio, TX. This is a personal best for Dax, and his first 25 straight in an official competition. Dax’s 98/100 is also the highest singles score in LC State Trap and S***t history. This is Dax’s last official shoot as an LC Warrior, as he graduates this spring. Not a bad way to go out, Congrats!

The Lewis Clark State Trap and S***t Team had four team members qualify for the National Collegiate Shoot in San Antonio, Texas. Kole Scharnhorst, Oliver Severs, Dax Wareham, and Teak Wareham landed in Texas Saturday morning with Team Coach Dr. Ken Wareham. Over the next week, they will shoot 100 targets in American trap, trap doubles, s***t doubles, American s***t, super sporting, and sporting. Live score updates

The LC State Trap and S***t team participated in the second annual Walla Walla Shoot. Shooters from Boise State, Eastern Oregon, University of Idaho, and Lewis Clark State competed in four events. Including two rounds of trap singles, a true 50 round of trap doubles, a single round of s***t, and a single round of 5 stand sporting clays. These four events totaled for 150 targets! The LC State team did very well and had some high scores.

It’s been a busy month for our trap and s***t team. Several members of our team attended the Camas Prairie Trap Shoot and had a great weekend. We were also thrilled to be able to help out with the Friends of NRA banquet in Lewiston. Our program applied for a grant from the NRA to help get the club up and running. We were honored to have been selected to receive that grant. We appreciate all the support the community has given us. The team will be traveling to Boise next weekend for a shoot hosted by BSU. We are excited to go down and compete so standby for more pictures and results from our upcoming Boise shoot!
