Recently, five Sandpoint cross country runners received All-District honors for their efforts this season. To receive this honor, athletes must be among the top 12 runners throughout the entirety of District 1's 3A/4A/5A teams.

After 17 incredible years as SHSXC Coaches, we have made the decision that it is time to begin a new chapter, and we are stepping down as the Coaches of SHSXC and SHS Track & Field. Outside of our family, coaching has been one of the most rewarding and impactful experiences of our adult lives. We have loved being the stewards of this program, coaching and mentoring an amazing group of student athletes year round and into adulthood. It has been our honor and privilege to build this program, creating a family of runners that are connected by hours, miles, sweat and traditions. In order to make something great, it requires being “all in”, and the demanding nature of the year-round coaching schedule for the last 17 years has taken its toll, and we are ready to start our next chapter. Thank you to Sandpoint High School and the Sandpoint community for allowing us this great opportunity to Coach and Mentor incredible young adults and to represent the school and community with pride and success.

To all those we have coached, thank you for understanding our vision and dedicating yourselves to a team first mentality. Tim's funeral service is at the New Song Bible Church in Sagle, ID this Saturday (11/19/22) Church will be open by 2pm with the service starting at 3pm.
