Great group of kids at Walla Wall Race Track this weekend.
They had a 2 day shoot out with very cool trophies and some good money along with all kinds of other give aways.
Great job all involved in putting this on!

Update:
Lane went a few rounds in Brianne Jackson’s Maverick in No Box and Foot Brake. Also tested the throttle cable for her. But no money! 😢

Gavin came off the trailer with a .028 light and a 7.91 in the Jr. finally figured out the tune and extra weight we needed to add to the car.
In eliminations he broke out by .001. He then bought back in and broke out again by .008. The car really picked up on that last round. I guess he’ll try it again in a couple weeks.
May be interested in finding a jr dragster roller. Something in a 21-22” cage if you hear of one please let me know.
Jake McClean is still in for yesterday’s race. It got to curfew and they shut it down.
Bryan Jackson popped another head gasket and will be frantically working on his stuff.
Jeff Costa made huge improvements. Especially on his lights. He’ll be in the winners circle soon.
We’re pulling the transmission from Lanes car next weekend at Lutrell’s auto center then I need to see if I can bribe ol Chet to fix it.
Will let everyone know how that’s going.

Well here we go again.
Got an engine in Gavin’s Jr and got it running good. Thanks Brother Brother Bill and Bryan Jackson for wrenching in it.
Lane was entered in 3 classes and was doing well when he lost 2nd gear and put him out.

Brie zJackson stepped up today and is letting him run her Maverick. Foot Brake and No Box classes.

Race update.

Gavin started licensing Jr Street 2 weeks ago and was able to run the Jr. this weekend. He did a heck of a job of driving. His first pass the right front tire blew at the finish line and made for an eventful shut down. But he kept his cool and handled it in stride. He then backup up his first pass with an identical number. Now he’s set for eliminations.
His competitor red lit giving him the win, however the motor decided it want us to look inside. Hence the hole in the block. Out for the rest of the weekend.

Previous race Lane went a few round on Saturday the Sunday ended up with a Semi finals in Pro and a runner up in Sportsman.
Fast forward to this weekend. Ran about the same on Saturday then Won Sportsman and had a runner up in Pro. He ran Dave Oien in Pro and decided to teach the whippersnapper a lesson and threw a .006 package on him. Nice job of racing Dave.
On his way to the Pro finals, Lane had to race against 2 of our pit mates and friends. He ran Bryan Jackson in the quarters, good job today Bryan and then his Major Sponsor in the Semis. He ran against Jeff Costa of Costa’s Auto Repair. (Jeff is in the winners photo as well.) Jeff also did a great job today.
Fun weekend now to go to work and get the Jr. running in two weeks.

Expecting big things out of Gavin next year now that he’s got a season under his belt.
