Today, we picked up our registration materials, and the girls attended Leadership Academy with Mike Smith and other student leaders. Afterwards, they hung out with Mike in the arcade! 🏀

Before dinner, we watched the gators in our hotel get fed. This was not as exciting as we anticipated, but it’s still gators in a hotel. 🐊

Dinner was at TRex in Disney Springs with the whole crew! 🦖

We’re pumped for tomorrow’s Breakout Sessions, Opening Keynote, and evening outing to Universal!

Today, we started planning for the school year, and we’re so excited!

If you are a Freshman and picked up paperwork today, you can drop it off in the front office of MCHS—just ask them to put it in Sweeney’s box.

If you didn’t get to pick up paperwork, you can also pick up paperwork in the front office and then return. You only need the student and parent signature parts filled out—don’t worry about the rest.

Work days will begin after July 4th. Make sure you have the school app (Apptegy) downloaded, so you can get all updates!

Marshall County High School has officially been named a Jostens Renaissance Platinum School of Distinction for the FOURTH year in a row! This recognition belongs to every student, teacher, staff member, administrator, family, and community partner who helps make MCHS feel like home.

Renaissance has become more than a program at MCHS — it’s the heart of our school. Through relationships, recognition, service, leadership, and school spirit, we continue striving to create a place where every person feels seen, valued, and celebrated.

We’re super proud of our Student Council alum! 💙

MCHS is proud of Sasha Utter who has been accepted to Vanderbilt University. Sasha is the 3rd senior to commit to Vanderbilt this year-a phenomenal accomplishment for a rural public high school. Congratulations!
