The TWHBEA National Futurity is more inclusive than ever before! Futurity-nominated horses can earn money in practically any division through their three-year-old season. Like last year, this year’s Celebration will offer designated futurity classes for Weanlings, Yearlings, Performance, Park Pleasure, All Day Pleasure, Lite Shod, Trail Pleasure, Country Pleasure, Park Performance, and Show Pleasure.

In addition to competing for Futurity earnings, trainers will receive 2x Riders Cup points. More than $50,000 in prize money was awarded in 2025, making the TWHBEA National Futurity the biggest payout in the industry for young horses.

DEADLINE FOR NOMINATIONS IS July 21, 2026

Do you know a breeder or horse who has left a lasting mark on the Tennessee Walking Horse industry?

TWHBEA is now accepting nominations for its two highest honors: the Master Breeder Award and Hall of Fame.

The Master Breeder Award recognizes breeders whose lifetime achievements have had a significant and enduring impact on the breed.

The Hall of Fame honors horses that have distinguished themselves through breeding, show ring accomplishments, and/or ambassadorship of the breed.

Nominations will be accepted through July 22, 2026, and should be submitted to [email protected].

Help us recognize the individuals and horses that have shaped our breed's legacy. Submit your nomination today.

Today we celebrated an incredible milestone and a remarkable career as we honored Annette Rodgers on her 60th anniversary, and her final day, at TWHBEA.

Annette began her journey on June 15, 1966, and for six decades she has been a dedicated, steady, and invaluable part of our organization. Her commitment, knowledge, and service have left a lasting impact that will not be forgotten.

We were proud to recognize her during our semi-annual meeting in May with a special luncheon in her honor, and today our staff gathered once again to celebrate this extraordinary achievement.

Annette, thank you for your 60 years of dedication and all you have given to TWHBEA and our members. You will be deeply missed, and we wish you nothing but the very best in this well-deserved next chapter. Congratulations on an amazing career!

Exciting news for the 2026 show season!

TWHBEA is proud to partner with ThorSport, WHOA, and NWHA to introduce the inaugural ThorSport Versatility Cup, a new award program recognizing exhibitors who excel across multiple disciplines.

Competitors will earn points in Adult and Youth divisions in: Showmanship, Equitation, Western Riding, and Reining at the TWHBEA World Versatility Show, WHOA International Grand Championship, and NWHA The National. $12,000 in prize money will be awarded across Adult and Youth divisions.
