Name: Cory Burns
Title: President
Age- 33
Coaching experience- 9 years coaching youth football. 5 years football Director experience- (2 years serving as Director for Cornersville youth football association, and 3 years serving as Director with the Lewisburg Elite)
Specialty- special teams- people don't realize how important ST is until they need a game winning kick or a punt pinned down on the opponents 10 yard line.
About me: I have 2 beautiful children, and one on the way with my wonderful girlfriend, Kristina. I am a Proud owner of a local construction company that I've built from the ground up. When we are not working, we dedicate our time to helping the youth on and off the field. I spent 13 years in the Army, where the majority of those years were shooting long range with the 2/278th ACR sniper platoon, and was Honorably Discharged in 2021. In 2019- I founded the ROCW project- (Reach out county wide). This project allows us to build decks, porches, or everyday repairs for veterans, elderly, or disabled people, at no cost to them. We have in the past worked with churches, as well as private individuals to better the circumstances for those in need.
Goals: My goal is to assist the youth in fundamentally developing in not only football, but with day to day activities as well. We are looking forward to the future with the CCYFA.
