Dolly’s Dream Flies On at Eaton Community Schools!

In honor of the late Dolly Parton and her incredible legacy of literacy, Eaton High School Student Organizations are coming together to help put more books into the hands of our youngest Eagles.

From August 31–September 11, we are collecting new or gently used children’s books to help stock classrooms and provide books for students at East and Bruce Elementary.

📖 New or gently used children’s books
📍 Drop off at the EHS Main Office or Ag Room

Dolly believed in the power of a book to inspire a child to dream big. Help us keep that dream flying right here in Eaton, one book at a time.

The Cougars played hard coming back from a 8-0 lead by Shelby County. Unfortunately falling behind 11-8. However, they came out of their first regional tournament bringing home the Bronze 🥉Thanks to all the coaches, volunteers, athletes, parents and sponsors! We’ll be back next year to win GOLD!

We are looking for Junior Fair exhibitors to serve as mentors for our 3rd Annual Hearts of Preble County Show!

As a mentor, you will be paired with a Hearts of Preble County participant and help them learn about, prepare, and show an animal in the ring. This is such a fun and rewarding opportunity to share your love of the Junior Fair with someone else! ❤️

We're excited to help share this opportunity from the Preble County Junior Fair Board!

The 3rd Annual Hearts of Preble County Show will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the Preble County Fairgrounds. This special livestock show gives individuals with disabilities ages 8 and up the opportunity to experience the excitement of the show ring by being paired with a Junior Fair exhibitor mentor to show either a goat or a lamb.

This event is all about building confidence, creating friendships, and making lasting memories. If you know someone who may be interested in participating, please help spread the word!
