Hi,

The Lewisburg Elks Country Club (LECC) is continuing to operate under guidance from the West Virginia Golf Association.

We will continue to operate under Social Distancing Protocol until further directions are given.

West Virginia Governor's Executive order 9-20 under Section 1, subparagraph g, relates to essential activities for individuals within the context of the "Stay at Home" order is:

g. Engage in outdoor activity, provided that individuals at all time and as reasonable possible maintain social distancing of six feet from one another and abide by a 10-person limitation on gathering size.

We particularly note that in his oral presentation in informing the public of Executive order 9-20, Governor Jim Justice specifically mentioned both Golf and Fishing as outdoor activities one may choose to participate in.

The LECC has implemented course modification to aid player in staying safe such as:
A. One person per cart (all carts are washed and sanitized after each round)
B. Do not touch the Flag Stick (cups modified in allow retrieving the holded ball without touching the flag stick etc.)
