Oyster and Grunt represented the Club in the Lewes Doo Dah Patade celebrating America 250! Next games are at the Gettysburg National 19th Century Base Ball Festival in two weeks.

Lewes took to the field at Conowingo Park in Cecil Co., Maryland, yesterday and was able to come away with two victories. In the first match, against the Mutuals of New York City, Lewes‘s bats came alive in the 20-6 win. The second affair, against the hosts, the Rising Sun Base Ball Club, saw an exciting extra-inning win for the boys in blue and grey of 11-10. The deciding tally was scored by Dart on a tremendous steal of home. Fine defense was exhibited by the Lewes nine throughout the day, highlighted by an unassisted double play by Grunt at third base.
