We offer adult and private sailing lesson, weekly sail camp, and a seaonal swim team. Lewes Yacht Club (LYC) is a private club with a beautiful club house, a fabulous refurbished marina, upgraded pool area, and superb sailing on the Delaware Bay, with the most beautiful sunset view in the Mid-Atlantic. Use of the club facilities is for our members and their guests, although we have reciprocity wit

h other yacht clubs. Our club house offers fine dining and is available for private events or off-site catering.

Our team had a fantastic time at the LYC pool last night! A big thank you to the Board and our members for making this evening possible. Hosting the event at the Club meant we could welcome not only our hard-working staff, but also the families who support them throughout our busy summer season. It was a wonderful evening to relax, watch a beautiful sunset, and celebrate the incredible community that makes Lewes Yacht Club so special. 🏊‍♂️🌅💙👏👏👏

Yesterday, we hosted our annual Salute Our Veterans Ceremony to recognize members of our club community who have served in the military. Colonel Ron Chaney shared a meaningful message on the true significance of service and dedication to our country. During the ceremony, we also took a solemn moment to honor the fallen service members commemorated on Memorial Day, the brave U.S. military personnel who lost their lives defending our freedoms.

Today, we hold our nation’s fallen heroes in our hearts. They have earned our undying gratitude, and we stand in support of the families they left behind. May their sacrifice and courage never be forgotten.

Lewes Yacht Club hosted an engaging evening celebrating our member Sue Keller's new book "Images of Simplicity: Gilbert Byron's Lewes," which highlights Gilbert Byron's remarkable legacy in Lewes. The night was filled with delicious food and stories of Byron's rich history.

On this past Wednesday, we celebrated 2025 at our Staff Holiday Party. We enjoyed a meal, toasted to the staff, honored staff anniversaries, awarded service recognition, and competed in a trivia game for cash prizes.
