The Sussex Sand Sharks had a great day doing trail work at Susquehanna State Park. Thank you Dusty . We were able to do a pretty big section of bench cut and drainage to help protect an existing trail from erosion.

Sussex Sand Sharks had a great unofficial ride out at Tuckahoe State Park today!! We welcomed a new face (Lilly!) to our team and, of course, we had a few of our current team riding!! So much fun!!

The Sussex Sand Sharks will be having their first Give It a Go/Try It Event on Wed, April 29th at Lewes Cycle Sports from 5:30-7:00p. If you know any students interested in Mountain Biking and will be going into 5th-12th grade in the Fall, let them know about this! (We also encourage adults to be involved as coaches) Bring a bike and a helmet!! Come out and play a few games and try out our new riding features!

Yesterday, a few of the Sussex Sand Sharks coaches and riders got together for a little carpentry project! Our team now has a few ramps, a table top, and some "log overs" to add to our Practice and Try It Events! Coach Jim did the official first ride over, then they were open to the Student Riders!
