TONIGHT AT 6:30PM!
Tory Mike and I have been working together for the past several weeks to come up with a modification of the Thursday night weightlifting class. I think we have hit pay dirt!
It encompasses all aspects of Fitness that we embrace here, that the science says is safe to perform and beneficial to gaining strength and improving your health.
Too much strength training without enough mobility can cause joint problems.
Too much HIIT can cause mitochondrial impairment, glucose intolerance and draining of the parasympathetic nervous system.
In a nutshell, as stress levels increase thjere will be a decrease in your performance, defeating the object of your workouts.
You get injuries, you get unwell and your immune response is affected.
This is the reason why our programming here is so diverse and generally at a lower intensity. High intensity interval training was huge 10 years ago and the science has taught us much since then. Building muscle and increasing mobility, while focusing on cardiovascular fitness is the key to longevity!
DynamicFit we believe, is the perfect blend of general strength training, specific mobility work, targeted to the muscles we are working each class, a fun and random splash of dynamic cardio work, and a perfect cool down.
Over the next few weeks, we will be working at perfecting this format, paying special attention to the people who come to this class, so they feel it has been customized for their abilities. As your abilities improve, so will the programming!
Tory Will be bringing his amazing intensity, motivation and education necessary for this class! I couldn't think of a more appropriate instructor.
