Due to the threat of Inclement Weather, The Pines of Chatom will not be able to open Saturday for the Bear Basketball Classic.

The Classic has been moved to July 25th.

Please message Coach Childs or the Leroy Basketball page if you will still be able to participate in the Classic.

Anyone wanting to put a team in on the new date, please also message for information!

Don’t forget this Saturday the 20th is the Bear Basketball Classic golf tournament at The Pines in Chatom.

Metting at 7:30am and Tee off at 8:00am.

Boys Varsity (9th-11th) Basketball tryouts will be May 7th and 8th.

— NOT ALL WHO TRYOUT WILL MAKE THE TEAM —

Players interested in trying out need to come get a paper from Coach Childs.

Papers and any money owed must be turned in by May 7th or the player will be dismissed from tryouts and not allowed to participate.

We have some summer games and tournaments scheduled and this is why we are trying out so early. To compete in these games we need to have a team together and begin practices in accordance with AHSSA rules and guidelines.

Leroy Basketball will be hosting a fundraising golf tournament June 20th.

The tournament will be played in Chatom at The Pines.

Start time will be 8am.

4 man Scramble. $240 a team.

Thank you to everyone for coming out last night to support these teams and celebrate them. This is a picture slideshow of many memories made this season. Junior Ayden Merritt took all of these and put this together for us. Thank you to Arianna for the slideshow we had running last night at the banquet.
