Our grounds team got some early-morning venting done, followed by a roll, fresh pin locations, and a morning greens spray.

Our maintenance team at Breton Bay has been putting in some serious work on the greens, and we couldn’t be more proud of the effort they’ve put into this project.

Our goal is to increase turf density and strengthen the existing turf stand through a combination of thoughtful cultural practices and interseeding.

The process included ninja tine aeration, verticutting, interseeding 777 Bentgrass, incorporating seed and sand into the existing surface, brushing, rolling, and careful water management to maximize seed-to-soil contact and encourage germination.

This approach allows us to gradually increase density and uniformity while maintaining the putting surfaces we already have.

The work our team has put into this process has been tremendous, and the finished surfaces are already showing the foundation we’re looking for.

A huge THANK YOU to our entire maintenance team for the long hours, attention to detail, and pride they continue to put into Breton Bay. This is the kind of behind-the-scenes work that may not always be noticed, but it plays a huge role in the quality of our golf course.
