Southern Maryland Shotokan Karate Southern Maryland Shotokan Karate teaches traditional, Japanese karate in St. Mary's County, MD Mary’s County Department of Recreation and Parks.

Southern Maryland Shotokan Karate Club is a non-profit Karate club dedicated to practicing Shotokan Karate in cooperation with the St. All students train in the fundamentals of stances, punching, kicking, striking and blocking. Competetive Karate is not emphasized. However, as the club is a member of the ISKF , there are competitive avenues for those students interested in competition. Minimum age for membership is 7. We have students of all ages and from all walks of life.
