🗓In observance of Juneteenth, the St. Mary's County Recreation & Parks Main Office is closed Friday, June 19. All indoor recreation facilities and programs will be closed except for the following, which will be open:

💦The Wellness & Aquatics Center in Leonardtown is open from 6:00am-12:00pm.

✅Both the Drayden African American Schoolhouse and the U.S. Colored Troops Interpretive Center at the Lexington Manor Passive Park are hosting FREE open house dates on June 19, 20 and 21 from 11:00am-2:00pm.

✅ Piney Point Lighthouse Museum and Historic Park and Old Jail Museum - Leonardtown open with normal operations. Additionally, St. Clement's Island Museum is offering special cruises to St. Clement’s Island State Park.

✅ Wicomico Shores Golf Course is open with normal operations.

🌊Waterfront Parks (Snow Hill, Myrtle Point, Elms Beach) are open 8:00am-8:30pm with seasonal weekend admission fees in effect.

🏖 Planning a visit to Snow Hill, Myrtle Point or Elms Beach Waterfront Park? Reminder that both holiday and weekend admissions are in effect for the Summer season.

🗓Upcoming county holidays with Waterfront Parks admission fees include:
Friday, June 19: Juneteenth
Friday, July 3: Independence Day (Observed)

🎟Weekend and holiday admissions continue through Labor Day. The regular daily admission fee is $8/vehicle for county residents and $30/vehicle for non-residents. No admission fees are charged on weekdays.

🌟Are you a frequent visitor? Season passes for all three R&P Waterfront Parks are now available for purchase on the R&P online catalog! Options are available for one park, two parks or all three parks.

🗓Required Pre-Course Evaluation: Tuesday, June 30 from 1:00-3:00pm.
