It feels so fitting that our time together comes to an end right back where it all began, at Doyle. In August of 2022, the four of you walked onto this field ready to start your journey with Leominster Field Hockey, and LHS as a whole. Now, we blinked, and suddenly here we are…four years, countless hours, and endless memories later, for one final photo at the place that has become a second home to you. Please know that your LHSFH Family is so incredibly proud of you. Thank you for your dedication, your leadership, and leaving your mark on LHSFH. As we wrap up the last week of May and prepare to head into the last month of the school year, we wanted to give a special shoutout to this group of girls for their hard work and dedication throughout Term 3 this year!

These student-athletes continue to prove that excellence shows up in more than just competition. Highlights from this term include:
• An overall Team GPA of 3.53
• 14 out of 21 players earned above a 3.5
• 13 out of 21 players earned above a 3.7
• 9 out of 21 players earned above a 3.9
• 5 student-athletes earned a 4.0
• 18 out of 21 students (86%) made the Honor Roll

Proud of the work ethic, discipline, and consistency these students bring every day, in the classroom and beyond! Congratulations ladies, time to finish the year strong! 💪🏼🏑💙

LHSFH would like to wish a very Happy Assistant Principal’s Week to one of the best around 💙

We were lucky enough to have her as our varsity head coach for four years, and we’re even prouder to see her thriving in her new role as Assistant Principal at Frances Drake. Her impact on our program hasn’t gone anywhere, it’s just taken on a new form, and we all are better athletes, coaches, and people all-around because of her.

To the woman who works incredibly hard every single day, supporting students, developing teachers, and expertly and gracefully coordinating any chaos that gets thrown her way….Coach Phillips, we can’t emphasize enough how appreciated you are. Thank you for everything you’ve given to LHSFH and for the leadership, care, and energy you continue to bring to Frances Drake and the children of Leominster. We love watching you shine in this new role, you’re absolutely crushing it and we hope you know how loved and appreciated you are!! Happy Assistant Principal’s Week! We love you! 💙

CONGRATULATIONS to Senior Captain Caroline Kelly on being selected to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association High School Senior Impact Team! 💪🏼

This prestigious national honor recognizes graduating seniors whose careers exemplify excellence in competition, leadership, service, and meaningful impact within their school, team, and community. Being named to this team is a tremendous achievement and a testament to Caroline’s dedication, character, and work ethic. This is not just about statistics; it’s about who she is, the leadership she brings, the standard she sets, and the way she elevates those around her.

A 4-year Varsity player, 2-year captain, and leader both on and off the field, Caroline has truly left her mark on our program, and her impact will be felt for seasons to come. We are so proud of her and excited to watch her continue to compete as she heads to the University of New Haven where she will play Division I field hockey this fall! 🏑

Leominster Field Hockey is excited to announce that the National Field Hockey Coaches Association has named 11 of our student-athletes to this year’s National Academic Squad!! 🏆

Each year, this achievement is honored by the NFHCA, recognizing Juniors and Seniors with a cumulative GPA above 3.5. Of the 11 girls on our team who qualified for the National Academic Squad, 5 of them were also named National Scholars of Distinction for having a cumulative GPA above a 3.9!

Congratulations to these incredible student-athletes, who continue to work hard and prove every day that excellence doesn’t stop when we walk off the field. They are a great representation of what our program is all about: growth, accountability, and doing things the right way. Keep up the good work ladies! We are very proud of you 💙
