LHSFH would like to wish a very Happy Assistant Principal’s Week to one of the best around 💙

We were lucky enough to have her as our varsity head coach for four years, and we’re even prouder to see her thriving in her new role as Assistant Principal at Frances Drake. Her impact on our program hasn’t gone anywhere, it’s just taken on a new form, and we all are better athletes, coaches, and people all-around because of her.

To the woman who works incredibly hard every single day, supporting students, developing teachers, and expertly and gracefully coordinating any chaos that gets thrown her way….Coach Phillips, we can’t emphasize enough how appreciated you are. Thank you for everything you’ve given to LHSFH and for the leadership, care, and energy you continue to bring to Frances Drake and the children of Leominster. We love watching you shine in this new role, you’re absolutely crushing it and we hope you know how loved and appreciated you are!! Happy Assistant Principal’s Week! We love you! 💙

CONGRATULATIONS to Senior Captain Caroline Kelly on being selected to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association High School Senior Impact Team! 💪🏼

This prestigious national honor recognizes graduating seniors whose careers exemplify excellence in competition, leadership, service, and meaningful impact within their school, team, and community. Being named to this team is a tremendous achievement and a testament to Caroline’s dedication, character, and work ethic. This is not just about statistics; it’s about who she is, the leadership she brings, the standard she sets, and the way she elevates those around her.

A 4-year Varsity player, 2-year captain, and leader both on and off the field, Caroline has truly left her mark on our program, and her impact will be felt for seasons to come. We are so proud of her and excited to watch her continue to compete as she heads to the University of New Haven where she will play Division I field hockey this fall! 🏑

Leominster Field Hockey is excited to announce that the National Field Hockey Coaches Association has named 11 of our student-athletes to this year’s National Academic Squad!! 🏆

Each year, this achievement is honored by the NFHCA, recognizing Juniors and Seniors with a cumulative GPA above 3.5. Of the 11 girls on our team who qualified for the National Academic Squad, 5 of them were also named National Scholars of Distinction for having a cumulative GPA above a 3.9!

Congratulations to these incredible student-athletes, who continue to work hard and prove every day that excellence doesn’t stop when we walk off the field. They are a great representation of what our program is all about: growth, accountability, and doing things the right way. Keep up the good work ladies! We are very proud of you 💙

Hard work doesn’t stop when field hockey season ends. 💪🏼📖📝

Heading into winter break after an incredibly strong term in the classroom:

🌟 Team GPA: 3.58
🏑 85% made the Honor Roll (70% High Honors)
🖐🏼 5 players earned perfect 4.0s
😎 14 players had GPAs over 3.5

Proud of this group for their efforts every single day. Enjoy a well-deserved winter break! 💙

Happy Thanksgiving from all of us at LHSFH! We are incredibly thankful for all of our players, parents, families, and coaches and so very fortunate to have the program we do! 💙

Also sending a huge congratulations to Coach Gates and our football team starting the day with a great victory over Fitchburg. Shoutout to senior captain Osiris Lopez for breaking the state record for # of passing TDs! 🏈

Huge congratulations to sophomore Kasey Pineo, who has been selected for this year’s Rising Sophomore Squad by the Massachusetts State Field Hockey Coaches’ Association!

Each year, this honor is awarded to standout student-athletes whose dedication, talent, and commitment to excellence set the bar for others across the state. Kasey embodies all of that and more, and we are lucky to have her in our program!

Hard-working, driven, and an absolute pleasure to coach, Kasey had an incredible sophomore season, and we can’t wait to see what the next two years bring for her. Congratulations Kasey; we are so proud of you!! 💪🏼🏑💙

Congratulations to Senior Caroline Kelly, who will be taking the field tomorrow for the Best of 60 Senior All-Star Game, chosen as one of the top 15 senior field hockey players in Central MA. An incredibly well-deserved honor that reflects years of dedication, growth, and love for the game. We couldn’t be prouder!!

For anyone interested in going to support Caroline, the game is tomorrow (Sunday 11/16), at 12:45 pm at Grafton High School. Let’s go!! 💪🏼🏑💙
