A couple quick updates now that our athletes are back in school:

• We are officially gaining two new athletes this year! 🙌 Welcome to the team gentlemen. 💪

• I am in contact with the bowling alley to determine practice times. Hopefully that will start right away when we get back from Labor Day. Keep an eye out.

Our team has sent Aubrey & Andy out to Council Bluffs to the Southwest Iowa Track & Field competition. Both will be representing Lenox in the 50 m dash and the 100 m dash. Wish them luck!!

Update:
• Aubrey placed 2nd in the 50 m dash.
• Andy placed 3rd in the 50 m dash with a PR of 7.75 seconds.
• Aubrey placed 3rd in the 100 m dash.
• Andy placed 2nd in the 100 m dash.

Two of our athletes are officially registered and ready to go at the Southwest Area Track & Field competition on April 14th. This is the first time our delegation has participated in track and we wish our athletes luck as they prepare!

Our Lenox CSD delegation manager and head coach Jayme Sue Carruthers is in the running for America's Favorite Teacher!

Teaching allows me to share my love of learning with future generations. I differentiate for each of my students and watch them shine!
