This was some good info shared from one of our local golf courses and I thought I would share:

Days when the course is designated Cart Path Only are critical for protecting the turf and keeping our course in great condition.

This picture is a perfect example of what happens when carts leave the path. One trip across wet or soft turf can leave tracks that damage the grass, compact the soil, and take significant time to recover. What may seem like a harmless shortcut can create damage that affects everyone’s playing experience.

🏌️ Please help us protect the course:
• Keep your cart on the designated cart paths.
• Never drive around a wet or damaged area to get closer to your ball.
• When in doubt, stay on the path.

We appreciate everyone doing their part to care for the course. A few extra steps today can make a big difference tomorrow. 🌱⛳
