Lenoir Aquatic Center

Lenoir Aquatic Center Recreational and Lap Swim times may vary. Call the center at 828-757-2196 for specific days and times.

Located on 118 acres of land, the Lenoir Aquatic and Fitness Center offers an Olympic size outdoor pool, junior Olympic size indoor pool, weight room, fitness classes, racquetball court and is home to the Swim Lenoir Swim Team. Summer Rec Swim hours are Wednesday through Saturday 1:30-5:30pm

City of Lenoir facilities will be closed Monday, Sept. 7, 2026, in celebration of Labor Day.

Garbage pickup will be affected.

City Hall, Lenoir Aquatic & Fitness Center, Martin Luther King Jr. Center, Mulberry Recreation Center, and the City of Lenoir Recycling Center will be closed Monday.

City Solid Waste Division staff will not collect garbage Monday, Sept. 7. Monday's garbage route will be picked up on Wednesday, Sept. 9. All other household garbage pickups will remain on a normal schedule Labor Day week. There will be no bulk collection Labor Day week.

Have a safe holiday weekend.

The last day in the outdoor pool will be Saturday, September 12. Since we'll be transitioning to our off season, pay special attention to our Saturday hours as they will vary.
