Remember 8th grade girls tryouts tomorrow at Lenoir City High school from 2-3:30. No cost fee, looking to be a competitive group.

I will personally introduce myself my name is Loren Boyette I have played at the middle school level, High school, collegiate, and professional level. My assistant who is my fiancé Jordan Gresham who as also played at the middle school level, High school, and Collegiate level are seeking to coach and develop a strong group of girls.

Super excited to be apart of this coaching staff and organization. Myself and Dylan Moore will be coaching a 5th and 6th grade girls team. If you have a young hooper in the 5th or 6th grade be sure to mark your calender for tryouts. Mr. Oakley and myself had a one on one workout today after he did SAQ work for and hr. This kid has so much potential to be a Bog Problem on the court. My biggest pinch to him today was his Belief System and Mental Toughness. I feel that once he Masters those 2 things the sky is the limit. He has a smooth jumper and his handles are good enough that he can create his own shot. He has to learn to be Selfish at times when the opportunities presents itself. We had our shooting contest at the end of the workout and I finally got him today in a Best Out Of 5. He is 3-1 against Coach Trav and I'm looking forward to evening the score. Big Thank You to his mom Coach Amber Henderson for bringing him out this morning and trusting me with her son......... ...... .....

Had a good day in the gym this morning with this group of Young athletes. We got in some SAQ work. All of these kids play multiple sports. I tell them all that Slow Feet don't eat. They all got better today and that's what it's all about. Thank you to the parents for trusting me with their kids and bringing them out this morning...... ...... ...... .......

Had a great workout with these Young Hoopers this morning. Once again Mr. Oakley, Tru and Miss Phoebe took it to Ole Coach Trav in the shooting contest. They got me both games 10-9. I dont mind losing to these kids as long as Im seeing their confidence grow. They let me know about it every time. I will be back in the gym tomorrow starting at 2.
