1️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ It's the 100th playing of the Battle of the Bridge!!!

🎨🖌️ We will have a booth at the Tailgate where we will be working on a special piece of artwork celebrating the communities that enjoy this special rivalry. (Swipe to see a sneak peek!) This artwork will be auctioned with all proceeds going to Good Samaritan.

🐾🧡🍭Plus, we have stickers and candy to give out while you add your own touch to our masterpiece!

Congratulations to Sophie Reed, Reagan Helton, Kylee Hanson, and Ellie Vincil for their selection to the All-County Team on July 8th!!

As Coach Helton's 6th team loads, we are happy to say that two of these young ladies will be back for the 2027 season! The other two will be making us proud at the next level.

Also, we are grateful to Alfred Ezman and News-Herald Sports for the acknowledgement of the hard work our Lady Panthers put into this season. We loved having Alfred at our games and getting to see the LCHS Softball Program reported all season long in the News Herald.

Today, we join the Knoxville softball community in extending our thoughts and prayers to the Halls High School Softball family and to all who knew and loved Dedra Johnson.

For so many of our current and former Lady Panthers, the sound of Dedra's voice carrying across the softball fields has been a constant throughout their years of playing the game she loved at Willow Creek Youth Fields. Her passion, encouragement, and presence left a lasting mark on countless athletes, coaches, and families. So many girls grew up to be amazing young ladies because Dedra made softball accessible for them.

It's not often that we post in red—but today, we do it for you, Dedra.

Thank you for all you gave to the softball community. We love you, we will miss you, and your impact will never be forgotten. ❤️🥎

🥎 HISTORY MADE 🥎

The Lady Panthers Softball Program has made history today with its Senior Class of 2026!

For the first time in school history, FIVE members of a single graduating class have signed to continue their softball careers at the collegiate level - the most in any sport in LCHS history!!

Congratulations to:

🥎 Kymbal Williams – Daytona Beach Christian University
🥎 Abrianna Baker – Bryan College
🥎 Reagan Helton – Bryan College

This group has left its mark on our program in countless ways. They have broken records, tied records, raised expectations, and helped lead LCHS Softball to its first Sub-State appearance in more than 20 years.

More importantly, they have represented our school, teammates, coaches, and community with pride.

We are incredibly proud of these young women and grateful for the legacy they leave behind.

Congratulations on this well-deserved achievement, and we can't wait to see what comes next!

Lenoir City Lady Panthers Softball is thrilled to announce Anna Marie Stooksbury Lewis as the new assistant coach. Coach Lewis contributed significantly to the foundation of the current program as a student-athlete, and we are excited to welcome her back as an assistant coach!

While attending Lenoir City High School, Coach Lewis (Stooksbury) was a standout athlete for the Lady Panthers Softball Program. She finished her high school career with a .408 batting average and .493 on-base percentage while recording 130 hits, 20 home runs, 122 runs scored, and 106 RBIs. She was known for her consistency at the plate and ability to make an impact in key moments. She also maintained a .917 fielding percentage throughout her career. Coach Lewis earned team MVP (four years), All-District (four years), All-County (four years), and All-County Player of the Year (2 years).

During college, Coach Lewis played softball at Lee University (2 1/2 years) and at Faulkner University (2 1/2 years). She also played golf at Faulkner (2 1/2 years). Lewis made the 2024 Champions of Character Team, as well as, the 2023 and 2024 Barnes & Nobles College All-Academic Team.

Coach Lewis has developed a strong background in coaching. She was the golf graduate assistant at Faulkner University, Florida Vibe travel coach (1 season), North Middle assistant coach (1 year), and softball instructor/private lessons.
