EVALUATIONS ARE CANCELLED.

Out of precaution for the kids safety, evaluations for the Fall season will be cancelled. Due to the heat advisory and temperatures forecasted at the time of evaluations, we thought it was in the kids best interest to skip. Child safety is important, and we felt the risk of heat was too high. With that said, the teams will be assembled at the beginning of the week, and you should hear from a coach by the end of next week. If you have any questions please reach out. Have a great weekend and stay cool.

The Lemoore Little League 10U All-Stars wrapped up an unforgettable summer this week after representing the Central Valley at the California State Championship Tournament in Fremont.

Lemoore opened tournament play on Saturday with an exciting 4-3 walk-off victory over Hollister Little League. On Sunday, the team battled Twin Cities Little League from the San Francisco area in a hard-fought extra-inning game before falling 2-1. Facing elimination on Monday, the All-Stars responded with an impressive 8-3 win over Linden Little League to keep their season alive. Their tournament run came to an end Tuesday with a 6-1 loss to Tri Cities Little League from the Sacramento area.

While the season ended a few days sooner than the team had hoped, the players never stopped competing. They played with heart, represented Lemoore with class, and made their community proud every step of the way.

One question the team heard throughout the week from players, coaches, and families from across California was, “Where is Lemoore?” By the end of the tournament, they knew. Our players proudly represented not only Lemoore Little League, but our entire community.

The coaches, players, and families would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported this journey. Whether you donated at one of the fundraising events on the street corners, contributed through Venmo, became a major sponsor, or simply cheered the team on from home, your generosity made this experience possible. Your support helped cover hotel accommodations, meals, and travel expenses, allowing these young athletes and their families to focus on making memories that will last a lifetime.

Although this team did not bring home a state championship banner, their accomplishments deserve to be celebrated. This group finished the summer as back-to-back District 34 Champions and back-to-back Section 7 Champions, earning the opportunity to compete among the best 10-year-old teams in California.

Thank you again to the Lemoore community and everyone throughout Kings County for standing behind these young athletes. Your support means more than you know, and these players represented our town with pride from the first pitch to the last.
