Awesome to have 8 of our JV and 10U Lemont Hornets players walk out to midfield with our varsity captains last night!

These young Hornets were selected by their coaches for the hard work, effort, and attitude they displayed throughout the week at practice. More importantly, they continue to show a passion for the game and a love for Lemont Football.

We’re proud to have them represent the Lemont Hornets and excited to watch them continue to grow as players and future Lemont High School football players!

The future is bright in Lemont!

A big thank you to Lemont Football alum Connor O’Brien for coming out tonight and speaking to our team following our Thursday night run-through!

Connor was a 3-year starter, Team Captain and Defensive MVP at Lemont. He helped lead Lemont to back-to-back IHSA State Semifinal appearances. He was also a two-time All-Conference selection, two-time All Area selection, and two-time Academic All-State honoree.

Connor continued his career at the University of North Dakota, where he became a starting linebacker and was named to the Big Sky All-Academic Team.

We appreciate Connor taking the time to come back, share his experiences, and talk to our guys about what it means to represent Lemont Football.

Tim was a three-year varsity starter on the offensive line at Lemont before going on to have an outstanding college football career. We’re grateful to have former players like Tim come back and share their experiences with the next generation of Lemont Football.

What a great way to wrap up the week! Morning practice in the rain under the lights, capped off with a Joey’s Red Hots food truck!

A huge thank you to Hayes Auto & Truck Repair for sponsoring the event and feeding our players. We also appreciate all of our parents who volunteered their time and provided Gatorade, water, and desserts for the team.
