Town Creek’s 27th annual Don “Blue Bird” Watkins was held Feb 21st 2026. The weather held and I believe it was one of the best hunts we have had! 330 points to win and 108 crossings! Hats off to the judges for their hustle and dedication!

I would like to give a huge shout out to Brett Cumber from A to Z for always supporting our events with light trees and any other equipment we may need! Remember who supports you! Give him a call for your rental needs!

Town Creek Hunting Club hosted its 24th annual Don “Bluebird” Watkins field trail on January 8th 2022, this was a qualifying hunt for the East Carolina Deer Classic. With 233 dogs present, below are the placing and scores.

Town Creek would like to thank all in involved in making this a success. Town Creek did have an issue with a few hunters and the lack of respect. Not respecting judges and leaving trash will not be tolerated. Our members and friends dedicate their time and money to making these field trails happen. This is a privilege not a right.

Town Creek would also like to give a special thanks to “Big” John Watkins for his years of dedicated service to the hunting club. Rest high on that Mountain BIG John.
