The 2025 Webbslingin’ Doubles Championship registration is now open on discgolfscene.

This is a USDGC Doubles Qualifier tournament, but we will have a pro division and a division for those that want to play but not try for the qualifier.

It will be held Sunday, June 8, 2025 at the Beast on Honey Hill.

MPO/FPO will be playing for cash prizes
MA1/FA1 will be the qualifying division
MA3/FA/3 will be those wanting to play but not trying to qualify(Prizes for this division are TBD)

2025 Webbslingin’ Doubles Championship a USDGC Doubles Qualifier is a PDGA-sanctioned disc golf doubles tournament in Whiteville, North Carolina beginning June 8, 2025 and hosted by Leland Disc Golf Club.

The 2024 Doubles Match Play Tournament has come to an end. We had 10 teams (20 men) compete for the final prize. It was hot, competition was tough, the brackets were confusing ( I'll do better next time ) and some played 72 + holes of disc golf.

Team CFG took home the championship. The team consisted of Carson Ham and John Blackburn. Runner up was team Floppy Discs, which was consisted of Dwain Gunnels and Stone Tippett.

Congratulations Team CFG and thank you to all who participated and having the patience to deal with the bracket issues. Also thanks to Throw Coast Disc Golf for their support and Jon Karwacki for providing some shade with the use of his canopy.

Webb-Slingin' Disc Golf presents the 2024 Doubles Match Play Tournament. This year's tournament will be held at the Leland Disc Golf Course on July 21, 2024.

It is a bring your own partner, double elimination bracket style tournament.

Layout for play will be as follows:

Round 1: 12 hole main layout
Round 2: 9 hole bombs away layout
Round 3: 9 hole Honey do layout
Round 4: 12 hole main layout
Round 5: 9 hole bombs away layout
Round 6: 9 hole honey do layout
We will continue this layout pattern for any additional rounds needed.

Registration opens on June 28th, 2024 at 8 pm on discgolfscene. $50 per team registration. Limited to 24 teams.

Payout for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers. Ace pool will be automatically taken from registration.

🏆 I've been playing disc golf since 2016. I started playing tournaments shortly afterwards. Today was my 41st PDGA sanctioned tournament at The Autumn Open @ the Beast in Halsboro, NC. It was cold and rainy and I played against some great competitors in the MA50 division. 🥇I FINALLY WON MY FIRST SANCTIONED PDGA TOURNAMENT.🥇

So for National Disc Golf Day I went out to Brunswick Community College and played The Dolphin. I also designed the temporary 9 hole layout for the Dolphin Classic coming up Aug 20th. It's going to be a really fun layout.....you won't want to miss it.
