We're serving up Coach Hook's Famous Sweet Heat Wings and slow-cooked pulled pork to help raise funds for our End of Season Awards Ceremony, where we'll celebrate the hard work and accomplishments of our incredible players and coaches.

What an incredible evening at our Beyond the Court Career Summit! 🩵🖤

Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make tonight so special. A HUGE thank you to our amazing guest speakers for your honesty, transparency, and willingness to share your journeys with our organization.

Your stories, lessons, and encouragement inspired our athletes to dream bigger and reminded them that success is built through perseverance, hard work, and resilience.

Our hope is that every player left believing their future extends far beyond the basketball court. Thank you to our guest speakers for investing in the next generation of leaders!

🏀BEYOND THE GAME FUTURE LEADERS SUMMIT🏀

We're committed to developing more than just basketball players, we're committed to developing future leaders.

On Tuesday, June 30th, we're replacing one practice with something that could have a true impact on our athletes' futures.

Our players will have the opportunity to hear directly from successful professionals, business owners, entrepreneurs, healthcare workers, educators, public servants, and skilled trades professionals who will share their journeys, lessons learned, and advice for success.

Many students spend years in school learning subjects but never get the opportunity to ask questions like:

👉 How did you choose your career?

👉 What education or training did you need?

👉 What does your job actually look like day-to-day?

👉 What mistakes should I avoid?

👉 What is the salary range?

👉 How can I start preparing now?

Following the presentations, players and families will participate in an interactive Career Exploration Session where they can meet professionals face-to-face, ask questions, and learn more about careers that interest them.

Several of our professionals have also volunteered to offer mentorship and job-shadowing opportunities this summer for students who want to continue learning and exploring potential career paths.

We believe exposure creates opportunity.
