Teaching Excellence - Our instructors have been personally trained by Professor Dennis Estes. They have reached their level of training not only for their skill and achievements in martial arts but also their ability to effectively relate that knowledge and understanding to students of all age levels and backgrounds. All of our instructors have come up through the ranks of Danzan Ryu Jujitsu follo

wing the philosophy and principles of "KODENKAN" ("School of the Ancient Tradition" or "School in which the Senior transmits the Tradition to the Junior") and as such have been training to become instructors as soon as they walked onto the mats of the Shin Budo Kai. Our Sensei’s continuously undergo advanced training in all self-defense skills, and keep abreast of the latest teaching methods and human potential development. A modern approach to martial art trainingAlthough our techniques are based on centuries old knowledge, it is our application of that knowledge that sets Shin Budo Kai apart. We realize that each of you possess different natural abilities; size and strength will vary from person to person, etc. That is why once you have acquired a strong foundation and ability in the basics, our program is individualized to match your physical capabilities in order to maximize your self-defense skills. Should the need ever arise you will possess a firm understanding of exactly what it takes to both mentally and physically defend yourself or your loved ones.

It is with great sadness that I have to announce the passing of one of our students Delmy Orduna. If you can it would be great to support the family and support the funeral. Let me know if you have any questions.

Our radiant light, Delmy Orduna, passed March 7, 2020. After a long battle of recovering from her traumatic brain injury. She conquered many obstacles in recovery and fought every step of the way. She passed in the state of Utah, where she grew up most her life. Born September 9,

Schedule for Estes Ohana

Exams are at 1 PM Friday afternoon
We will begin classes Friday evening at 6:00 and go until 9 PM.
Saturday Morning begins at 8:30, break for lunch at 12:00, back again at 1:30 and continue until 4:30.

Sunday morning is from 8:00 AM until 11:00 AM

The Banquet is at 6:30 at the Lehi Legacy Center in the Senior Resource Center.

The Banquet is for class participants and their spouses.

The class registration covers the banquet for the class attendees. Banquet guests ticket would be $15.00.
