Meet Miss Kayla, one of our amazing instructors at Silver Bear Swim School! 🎉

She brings excitement and fun to every lesson, making waves both in the pool and with her students’ smiles!

Fun facts about Miss Kayla:
🌴 A true SoCal girl who moved to Utah to study at the U
🌊 Started swimming at age 4 and loves using her freestyle to catch waves in the ocean
🎿 Passionate about skiing—snowy mountains are her happy place
🐼 Loves teaching Black Bear 1 and Panda Bear classes, full of energy and personality
😊 Favorite part of SBSS? The kids! Their smiles and little friendships make every day special
👯‍♀️ When she’s not working, she enjoys hanging out with friends and FaceTiming family
☀️ Favorite part of summer? Boating, rodeos, California trips, and catching waves while surfing!

Meet Miss Zoey, one of our fantastic instructors at Silver Bear Swim School! 🎉

She brings energy, fun, and a whole lot of silly faces to every lesson—just ask the kids who love making them back!

Fun facts about Miss Zoey:
🗣️ She’s fluent in Spanish and currently learning Portuguese, Italian, and Russian!
🌊 Started swimming around age 3 and loves diving under ocean waves and swimming through the sea spray
🧵 Enjoys sewing, cooking, and studying languages in her free time
🐻 Loves teaching Polar and Grizzly classes—she’s all about the big splashes and big progress!
📚 When she’s not at work, she’s probably watching a movie or curled up with a good book
☀️ Favorite part of summer? Soaking up the sun!

You can find her teaching in the water, floating on deck as an awesome safety monitor, and greeting you at the front desk!

Fun facts about Miss Izzie:
✨ Spends her free time working with plants—managing a vertical hydroponics system and doing floral arrangements! 🌱
🌊 Learned to swim young, and now loves relaxing back floats and focusing on her breathing in the water
🍰 Loves to learn new languages and make her own pastries
😊 Favorite part of working at SBSS? The fun kiddos and their awesome spinny-cannonballs!
🐻 Loves teaching the Teddies—she always has a blast with them!
🏕️ When she’s not at work, you’ll find her volunteering, organizing events at school, and enjoying summer adventures like hiking, camping, and snow cone truck visits!
