From shamrocks to red rocks, today I had the privilege of meeting Ireland’s Minister of State, Alan Dillon. This event highlighted the strong foundation shared by Utah and Ireland in business-friendly policies, family values, and a love for Irish culture.

The gathering provided valuable insights into Ireland’s dynamic business environment and explored potential partnerships in sectors like Tech, Retail, and Sustainability. It was exciting to connect with industry experts and discuss how we can collaborate to achieve global ambitions.

A special thank you to Qualtrics and doTERRA for their representation at the event. Their commitment to innovation and excellence continues to inspire and drive growth in our community and Ireland.

This event was made possible through the collaboration of the Governor’s Office of Economic Opportunity, the Salt Lake Chamber, the Consulate of Ireland, and IDA Ireland. Thank you! It’s opportunities like these that pave the way for meaningful connections and a brighter future for all.

Alan is this year’s Grand Marshal for the Hibernian Society’s 47th Annual Parade & Siamsa at Gateway Mall this Saturday. Hope to see some of you there!

Happy Birthday to Ms Naomi! 🥂

We love Naomi as a teacher and friend! She is a phenomenal talent and Irish dance advocate. Right now she is finishing her undergrad full-time at BYU, and has plans to graduate next year. While pursuing Marketing this year she is also a Director of the BYU Marketing Association for out-of-state trips and is 1/2 way to a minor in World Dance as well. We have loved watching her growth and determination with her dance academy and academia, and can’t wait to see how she makes this her best year yet!

We are thrilled to announce that we will be the official Irish Dance group in this year’s Hope of America and kick off for Provo’s Freedom Festival 2022.

We are casting extra beginner dance positions for those who are interested in participating. Dancers of any background ages 6-12 who can commit to weekly practices until May 2nd are welcome to join.

Please email [email protected] if you’d like to join. Participation, classes, and costume will be a total $45.

Held May 2-5th at the BYU Marriott Center in Provo.

The Celts flow through our cultures as floods to the rivers. We celebrate the Beltane or "Bright Fire." Fragments of golden luxe on horizon, the Sun paints our Earth in a vast ombré of green hues.

Spice and warmth arise from the deep as the dawn of a New Beginning has awoken. Come, you will find us in the forests, where our hearts dance on solstice ray and the rhythms of Ireland's fires of Bel soar onward. - n smith

The Hibernian Society has worked relentlessly to forge the celebrations of Utah’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Siamsa forward for their 42nd year, and we are thrilled to join them!

You can see our incredible dancers in the parade as Entry #26, as well as a fabulous performance at 2:20pm on the Grand Stage. We hope to see some of you, our favorite faces, dressed to the green nines! Make sure to say hi, and enjoy the Irish music and food!
