The City of Leesville and the Leesville Recreation Complex would like to thank everyone for helping make the success of our complex and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony possible. Monday morning’s event was an incredible success, and we are truly grateful for the amazing turnout and overwhelming community support.

A special thank you goes to our partners with the Vernon Parish Police Jury and the West Louisiana Forestry Festival for standing beside us as we continue investing in the future of our community.

The complex features 5 turf ball fields, 2 practice fields, 4 new pickleball courts, and a fishing pond. The development of this state-of-the-art facility will have a lasting impact on the youth of our community and surrounding areas for many years to come.

Thank you to everyone who attended and supported this special event. Most importantly, thank you to our community partners and sponsors. Your continued support and sponsorship help make projects like this possible, and we look forward to the future growth and opportunities this complex will bring to the City of Leesville.

Mark your calendars for an evening of fun “Under The Big Lights!”

The City of Leesville is proud to partner with surrounding area Law Enforcement Agencies and First Responders to bring our community together for National Night Out 2026. Join us on August 4, 2026, from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM at the Leesville Recreation Complex for an exciting evening filled with family fun, community engagement, and activities for all ages.

Bring the kids out to meet your local Law Enforcement Officers and First Responders while enjoying vendors passing out merchandise, food, and drinks throughout the evening.

Watch Law Enforcement clock pitches in the batting cages, help teach kids how to bait a hook at our new fishing pond, and throw some tricky pitches during the Home Run Derby. Be sure to help us cheer on our special athletes as we host our Buddy Ball Teams during this exciting community event.

Businesses, organizations, and community partners are invited to join us and be a part of this special evening.
