Easy, Quiet Joy
Sunstone in Everyday Life

A couple months ago I began drinking my coffee out on the porch.

There isn’t much of a view — trees in front of me, houses on either side. For a long time I didn’t think it was “worth” sitting outside. That first morning, though, I felt the breeze on my skin and remembered how much I love fresh air.

I inhaled. Closed my eyes. Listened.

Wind moving through leaves. The soft ti**le of windchimes. Little birds gossiping.A hammer echoing faintly off the hill. I was present.

Relaxed. Grateful.

A quiet joy rose in my heart. Such a simple beginning to the day.

Now I sit there almost every morning. I have regular visitors — lizards with distinct personalities, two butterflies who perform the most intricate dances, small birds who chatter with complete confidence.

I check on my little garden and encourage the two pineapples growing there. I noticed a plant I once assumed was a random w**d pushing up through the cement. It revealed itself as a “Moses in a Boat,” a resilient beauty whose seeds travel easily. I’m replanting it somewhere where it can flourish.

Such an easy practice. Nothing dramatic. Nothing grand. Just presence and attention.

The Sunstone Ray reminds us that joy does not need extravagance. Joy is everywhere – quiet, easy, alive. Aquarian embodiment lives here — in the breeze, in the birds, in the scent of morning air, in the simple act of sitting and allowing life to meet us, beautifully and joyfully.

Sunstone Ray — Illuminated Joy
Aquarian Embodiment in Real Time

This morning at Mystic By The Sea, an absolutely stunning woman walked in. Tall. Stately. Elegant in a quiet way. We chatted briefly and I let her browse. She sampled one of Blooming Alchemy’s scents and visibly softened. She carried the sample card with her as she moved through the store.

She wandered to our win-win-win corner — jewelry created by women whose livelihood also supports their healing journey, and goes a step beyond, too. As we spoke again, I looked at her and said gently,
“You are beautiful. Not just outwardly — your soul, your heart, all of you.” She shook her head. Her eyes filled. “I’m on a healing journey. It’s what brought me here.” she said. “I’m trying to find who I am again. It just hurts so much.”

Her pain was real. Deep. Honest. So I asked her something simple. “What brings you joy? When do you notice beauty?” She paused. She couldn’t find an answer.

Then I reminded her when she smelled the scent. “You smiled,” I said. “Your whole face lit up.” She laughed softly. “Yes. That felt joyful. And beautiful.” “How did it feel in your body?” “My heart lifted. I felt brighter. Something opened.”

This is Aquarian embodiment. Healing is not a ladder you climb through suffering. It is a return to sensory truth.

Joy becomes the compass. Beauty becomes the doorway. The body becomes the guide.
The Sunstone Ray teaches that illuminated joy is not separate from growth. It is growth.

When your heart lifts, your system reorganizes around light. When your breath softens, your soul comes forward. When something inside you brightens, that brightness is living intelligence.

In the Aquarian field, we do not wait until we are finished healing to feel joy. We begin with it.

You Are Not Who You Were Before

I am blessed to have a few clients who have walked with me for decades. The conversation is easy. The commitment is real. The growth is breathtaking.

Andrea has been with me for twenty years. She began as an overworked, over-giving, overwhelmed mother searching for validation that never came. Today she is wise, sovereign, and deeply at home in herself. She belongs to herself. Yesterday she asked how I was doing.

I told her the truth. I was tired. Frustrated. Recording long YouTube videos into what feels like an empty lecture hall. Engagement has dipped. It brings up old echoes of being the professor trying to make her way in a new world.

She listened quietly and then said:
“That’s because you are not who you were before. You aren’t the professor trying to make her way in the spiritual world. I remember her. You haven’t been her in a long time. You are Alunira.”

She paused.

“You know which posts I love the most? The ones where you share something you’re actually moving through. Then you show how it resolves and which Ray met you there. The retreat. Your conversation with your brother. I can apply that to my own life.”
Then she said something I will not forget.

“You don’t need to teach about the Rays. You are the Rays. We all see that.”

And just like that, the circle closed.

Aquarian Living is not performance. It is embodiment. It is sovereignty lived in real time.
It is truth spoken while still inside the process.

Soul Connection. Embodied Truth. Embodied Wisdom.
Not as theory. As life.

Little Bird, Big Message

I was drinking my coffee this morning, mildly grumbling about paperwork I need to submit again to straighten out my mortgage. Seven years of repeated errors. Seven years of resubmitting documents.
Seven years of the strange echo that always brings me back to Suzy’s death. It’s never just paperwork.

There is always a thread.

Almost every morning, a small bird joins me while I drink my coffee.
She chatters. Complains about the other birds, especially the loud yellow bananaquit. I listen. We agree. She flies off.

This morning she did something different. She landed directly on the top of my head. Right on my crown.

She stayed only a moment — but in that moment I saw the colors of the Rays. I felt my body brighten. Something aligned. Something steadied.

A clear knowing moved through me: everything is unfolding in order. Not only the mortgage.
Everything.

Later, as I sat with it, I realized something. The paperwork. The grief. The retreat. My brother. The quiet architectural shifts in my life. They are not separate strands. When I pause and feel them in my body, they unify.

This is the Opal Ray, the Ray of living connection across layers.
Connection between worlds. Connection between grief and joy.
Connection between paperwork and crown light.
Connection between morning coffee and cosmic reassurance.

Opal teaches that nothing is random when you are embodied. Everything belongs.

This morning, a little bird reminded me.

Sovereignty isn’t Selfish

Sovereignty is sacred. It is the foundation of Aquarian living. No one outside of you holds your light.

And yet sovereignty is not isolation or selfishness.
The Opal Ray reminds us that connection is a birthright, and we were not meant to live in this world alone. When you are connected to your own soul – your internal resonance — your body, your breath, your truth —all your other connections become clean and true.

You sense who to call. You sense when to speak with kindness and connection. You sense when to listen with an open heart.

When I awoke on Mother’s Day, I took a few minutes and listened inwardly. My whole being wanted a quiet restful day, present with myself. So I did not force myself into distraction. No brunches, no social media, no expectations of what the day may bring.

From that inner listening came clarity. And from that clarity came a beautiful connection and an enlightening, expansive conversation,

The Opal Ray lives in that space. It teaches that true connection with another honors sovereignty, energy, and soul frequency. It begins within ourselves first, then radiates outward.

Soul Connection

I was feeling a special loneliness on Mother’s Day, the one that children of trauma feel no matter how old they get. I didn’t ignore this loneliness. I decided to meditate for a while and my brother, Tim, came into my awareness. We have walked very different paths in this life, and there have been many periods of silence between us. Yet the feeling in my body told me to reach out.

I texted him and he called. We had a deep conversation that I don’t think we could have had before. I wasn’t the strong older sister, helping her little bro. In my own sovereignty, I allowed myself to soften and to share. I talked honestly about my loneliness. He listened. He understood. We spoke for a long time. Clear, unrushed, present.

When we were finished I felt a deep peace and a soul-level connection. My own sovereignty allowed me to honor his – and I listened to him without judgment, as he had listened to me.

I saw him as the man he is - thoughtful, open-hearted, intelligent, kind, devoted to the cats he loves. He saw me as I am.

And I realized that we were more alike than I ever understood before.

The Opal Ray teaches that sovereignty is not isolation. It is the ground from which true connection grows.

The Orchid and the Spiral

I love all flowers, but I have a special place in my heart for orchids. Their beauty has always touched a special place in my heart. Years ago, I bought pink orchids during a weekend away when I desperately needed rest. They sat on the nightstand beside my bed and quietly helped me belong to myself..

This weekend, at 4 Elements Culinary & Wellness Center Water Island, there were beautiful orchids everywhere. There so special - precise, architectural, refined. They bloom with intention. They do not rush their opening.

They remind me that beauty is not decoration. Beauty is orientation. When I stand in front of something beautiful and let myself fully receive it, my nervous system reorganizes. My breath deepens. My thoughts slow. My body remembers coherence.

Transformation does not always begin with effort. Sometimes it begins with beauty. Sometimes the soul grows because it is given something exquisite to soften toward.

The orchids this weekend were a gentle return. A reminder that refinement is part of growth. That becoming does not require force. That the most lasting shifts often happen quietly, through what we allow ourselves to receive.

I am noticing the beauty around me even more now. Beauty helps us to receive unconditionally. It teaches us how to open.
Such wisdom there. Don’t reach. Open. Allow. Receive.

The Spiral That Called to Me

There were spirals everywhere at 4 Elements Culinary & Wellness Center Water Island. In shells.
In artwork. In the way conversations returned and deepened.
In the rhythm of the days.

This is one of my favorites. Sea glass and driftwood arranged in a turning form, as a living curve. Beautiful. It reminds me of my life. My life has never moved in a straight line. Growth has always come in twists and turns.

I revisit an old place in myself, and it feels different. I return to a conversation, and I hear something new. I move through a season, and then meet it again from a wider perspective.
This is spiral time.

The spiral is not repetition. It is expansion through return. Every turn carries the memory of the previous one, yet it sits at a different level of awareness.

When I look at this piece, I see a soul map. Each fragment shaped by water. Each curve shaped by time.

Each placement intentional. Nothing discarded. Everything integrated.
That is how I understand growth now.
Not as escape from who I was. Not as a climb toward something distant. Growth is the spiral — turning, refining, widening. And when I trust the turn, I trust my own becoming.

This piece feels like recognition. A reminder that the path I teach is the path I live.
And I am grateful for the turn I am standing in now.

I am Alunira

I recently attended a retreat at 4 Elements Culinary and Wellness Center. When I arrived, I was happy to see people who had attended classes I taught in St. Thomas in 2013, people I knew of from mutual friends, and meet some lovely folk who were new to me. Without fail everyone was kind, welcoming, lovely.

After we got settled in this magical place, we gathered together in a welcoming circle, introducing who we are and why we were there. Before I began, I felt a little current of nervousness move through me. I was far different from the healer I was 13 years ago. Life had changed dramatically. I had changed dramatically.

When it was my turn, I said “I am Alunira.” I am a Soul Companion, Aquarian Age Luminary, and Keeper of the Living Rays of Light. I shared the story of how I moved away from performing healings to giving energetic transmissions so people, with my guidance, could heal and take care of themselves. How my work has no hierarchy or religious overlay - the Ray transmissions become part of your internal architecture. I am a companion in their understanding of their own soul and self-sovereignty, not a guru.

I spoke about the big changes I experienced that led to my own sovereignty and understanding of this new Aquarian Age, changes so big that I transformed from Cynthia to Alunira.
Everyone listened with acceptance, interest, and care. The retreat leader then led the group in chanting my name.

Alunira Alunira Alunira Alunira Alunira Alunira. Clear. Grounded. Rhythmic.

The sound settled into my very bones. For the rest of the retreat, everyone called me Alunira with ease.
I was fully aligned. Connection became simple.
A deep peace came over me, because who I am inside and who
I was called by the world matched.
