Congratulations to these 3 danceline seniors!

Congratulations to Maggie Hall, Meya Shayeb, and Annalee Collins!
These outstanding students have been selected for the Sumter EMC 2026–27 Youth Leadership Cohort! 👏
Through this exciting opportunity, they will gain hands-on leadership experience, explore career pathways, connect with community and state leaders, and participate in workshops, field trips, and real-world learning experiences.
We’re excited to see them grow their confidence, teamwork, communication skills, and understanding of the important role they can play in their community.

Mr. Alford has been doing great things for the Trojan Band already! Excited to have him on our team!

Please join us in welcoming Elijah Alford, our new Band teacher, to the LCMS East team!

Originally from Ashburn, Georgia, Mr. Alford is entering his second year of teaching band. He earned both his bachelor's and master's degrees in Music Education from Valdosta State University and is currently pursuing a Specialist degree at Augusta University. He is passionate about music education and enjoys helping students develop their talents and confidence through band.

When he's not teaching, he enjoys traveling, hiking, finding a great cup of coffee, and cheering on Georgia sports teams. He also loves working with the LCHS Trojan Band and is excited to help our students grow as musicians while preparing them for future opportunities.

We're thrilled to have Mr. Alford join our team and can't wait to see the positive impact he'll make with our students. Welcome to LCMS East!
