When we continue to exercise outside of alignment, we strengthen our compensatory practices. This is why having a trainer or teacher can help us make huge strides in our goals. An observer is able to notice these compensations and give us tips to improve alignment. Maybe once our alignment is established, the practice becomes easier. Maybe it becomes more difficult! Either way, the more we practice slowly, consistently, step by step, we see progress.
