Summit Volleyball Club (Summit VC) is a rapidly growing organization that focuses on the development of the whole player, from skill development to attitude to proper nutrition. With players from all over the Kansas City metro area and beyond, Summit VC has multiple Girls Premier and Select level teams in age groups U10 through U18. Some of our teams are National teams, and many are Regional teams
. This past season our U17 National Girls and our U16-1 Boys teams had tremendous success, and both teams qualified for Nationals! We look to add additional Boys teams this upcoming season. For the upcoming season, we will have 3 Boys teams and 21 Girls teams! Players are of different abilities and they need to have an organization that will help them develop and grow. All of our staff and coaches have that exact goal in mind. A lot of our teams practice twice a week for 2 hours each practice. Many of our teams practice 3 nights a week. All volleyball practices are now held in our home facility, TM Fieldhouse, located at 1550 SE Hamblen Rd, Lee's Summit. We are currently looking for players to fill our teams for the upcoming 2025-2026 season. Over the next couple of months we are hosting Open Gyms and Advanced Skills Clinics which are open to current and potential future players. Besides learning a lot, these are a great way for our coaches to interact with the players and for the players to check-out what Summit has to offer. If you are looking for a team for the 2025-2026 season, please contact us right away as those teams are forming now and will fill quickly. Erin Wilson (club director) takes great pride in knowing the players and parents within the club. She is visible and makes herself available at practices on a routine basis to supply support to the coaches, work with players, and check in with the parents. After all, this is as much a parent experience as it is a player experience. Summit VC is proud to include a Sports Nutritionist on our training staff. Rebecca McConville, MS, RD, LD, is a registered and licensed dietitian. She is also the University of Missouri Kansas City's Sports Nutritionist. She will speak at our entire club meeting to include parents and players. She will discuss the importance of nutrition and supply an approved Summit VC grocery list to help parents and players support their nutrition needs to help our players sustain their level of play at tournaments. Rebecca will also be available during the season to answer any questions you may have. Summit VC works very closely with the incredible physical therapy team at Summit Rehab and Wellness Center. Our athletes receive top priority for sports injuries. In the event of an injury, our players are evaluated for free, typically within 24 hours. If a doctor consult is needed, our players get seen within days, instead of weeks. Summit Rehab has developed a volleyball-specific injury prevention warm-up routine for Summit VC which all of our players utilize prior to volleyball practices and games. For those interested in sports performance training, we utilize Upward Performance & Physical Training, located in Grain Valley, MO. Upward Performance provides our players with volleyball specific fitness training. This is an exciting time for all of us at Summit Volleyball Club and we welcome you aboard!
