Had a blast this morning handling the dogs for the Josh Perne Memorial Squirrel Hunt youth pheasant hunt they did at The Lucky Buck Pheasant Preserve. Lots of shooting and laughs coming from the kiddos. And the dogs did great. Our Ana hasn’t hunted in over a year, as you can see she hasn’t skipped a beat.

Been a great few days in the north woods with the boys. Lots of missing but some great dogs and the birds were just right. Was able to connect on a few. Been a long time since I chased the King.

Corrie and the boys are having a great time up north. Great to be back in the woods chasing the King of the game birds. Unfortunately only connected on one so far. But little Stewie is living up to his cocker name flushing and retrieving woodcock like crazy. Also one of those woodcock I shot flushed once before I shot it and hit me in the face, then stewie came in flushed and get and retrieved it right to me.

Congratulations to Mike, Madison, and their family on their new Cocker pup Bonnie. This was the last pup to go home. We had to keep a little longer since they were moving from California. Good luck guys .

Its PUPPY pick up day at Highlander Gun Dogs!!! Is everyone excited as we sre for our first litter of Field Bred English Cocker pups to head home with their new families. Excited to see these dogs in the field.
