Many thanks to Harley and Cheryl for helping with stalls today, and setting a post, and cleaning water buckets and filling them, putting out hay and grain. I finished stalls and put in new bedding. Productive day

Lessons will start on June 6. Had several items on the to do list that will take next week to finish. Sorry folks. One person here trying to get things in order. Also need to ride a few horses before students get on them, lets hope I get that done too!!!

With the weather finally warming up, the horses are shedding like crazy. Emma seems to not do well in hot weather, she is sweating easily, so will have to have her checked out. She just had her second Dental with Dr. Kat, and this time, she did great. First time, she freaked at the needle, this time , she stood like a champ. Even an old horse can learn new things.

Before putting horses out for the night, I put Swat on their ears and sensitive areas. It is rewarding that those who have been with me for awhile will hang their heads over the stall gates and let me do their ears and face without moving. Those that are new, well, they need some guiding. Those that have sensitive ears, a little more guiding about it. But in the end, even those newbies who rear and protest that I am touching their ears, learn to like it. Swat takes away the itchies and keeps the bugs away from their ears. In Maine this is a needed thing.

Gee Golly Miss Molly. She is deterrmined to be where She wants to be. So in her stall with a new sign. The end of the sign should read, "or just open it yourself"

Worked on leveling out an area to put the round pen up. I think it will turn out well.
