Went to see some water about some troutskis yesterday. The plan was to get far away from humans and human engineered fish. Walked allot, and revisited some upper watershed spots I have not fished in a number of years. My efforts were rewarded with a double trifecta of only NATIVE and WILD fish. Everything was between 6 and 12 inches. No pics of the bows because they were the first two, and both 6 inches. No real mayfly activity. Three grabbed a swung Sparkle Pupa, and three smashed a grey Elk Hair Caddis. I defiantly walked and observed more than fished. The sound and feel of the water on my legs and the sun on my face has magical properties. A nice respite from the constant uncertainty we find ourselves living through...
