We painted a couple tables at the field today with some really thick deck over paint so please wait to use them. They should be ready for use friday.

The charging station is back in place. This time its cast in 600 pounds of solid concrete. So bring your chargers... its ready for use.

Just want to say thank you to those that helped with today's work party. Can't say what we did yet so your either going to have to wait to see in our follow up post or better yet, come out to the field to see for yourself.

You may not know this but, cold weather definitely affects LiPo batteries in RC airplanes. It can reduce power, shorten flight times, and cause a battery to hit its low-voltage cutoff sooner. This is especially noticeable on electric RC planes when you're flying in Oregon's colder months. I recommend warming the batteries up before use. There are many ways to warm your battery and one of ways could be placing a hand warmer inside your battery storage container or even putting them in your pocket to warm up. What are some of your favorite ways to warm your batteries that you can suggest? Please comment below.

The Great Pumkin Race...This actually may be a first time ever pumpkin drone race and it took place right here at LARC. These guys definitely had fun today and maybe started something that could become an annual event. More highlights and video to come.
