Good afternoon everyone. We’re going to relax the bat rules some and allow for 220 compression bats to be used with it being fairly cool tomorrow, I understand not everyone wants to use their good bats and run the chance of them breaking. Also the main parking lot is open again, please use the entrance off of golden wood road to access the parking lot since the lower lot has been closed off and does not provide access to the big lot. Home run bands are $10 and we’re starting at 9am. Excited to see everyone tomorrow!

Good afternoon! Currently working on the bracket as we speak. Due to a couple of teams dropping we have decided to just restart the bracket and backfill the open slots that were available so certain teams don’t have such a long wait time. We’re gonna kick off bright and early at 9am. Once again games are an hour long with 3 home runs per team unless you buy a home run band which then does not count towards your team total. Don’t argue with the umps, as most of them will more than likely be players filling in. Don’t forget we will have a home run derby and the grand prize is a $250 gift card to Smash it Sports!!

Good afternoon everyone, the make up date for the tournament is November 2nd. If we pick up extra teams we will restart the bracket. If we don’t we do have options. If all the coaches agree we can restart the bracket or just continue where we left off. I will leave it up to the coaches

With field conditions right now, ultimately we are cancelling it for the rest of the day. They way these fields hold water it will be way to muddy and wet. We are currently working on rescheduling and looking at November to complete the tournament. Sorry everyone, we know how Mother Nature is and unfortunately she is hateful today.

Hello everyone. I’m sure as some of you are aware, they are redoing the big parking lot at the fields. That being said we do have some options for parking. The lower small lot by Lynn street is available for use, as the grass by the parks office is free to use. There is also a small lot off of Indian creek we can park in as well. Turn down Harris street at the light by TH rogers lumber and take it to Indian creek road. Please park neatly as there will be a lot of people there. See everyone Saturday!!!

Here is the official bracket for Saturday. Please note the only times that will be exact start will be the first games. Games will finish early and the plan is to start the next game 15 minutes at the conclusion of the previous games. At the 15 minute mark if your team is not gathered you are at risk of a potential forfeit. We will be trying update times throughout the day as time allows.

GOOOOOOOOD MORNING EVERYBODY!!! We are 6 days away from kicking off the first annual EMS memorial Softball tournament!!! I am beyond excited for Saturday!!! We are starting at 9am sharp!! Bring the speakers, play loud music and just have fun with this tournament. I know we all love to win but there’s a few team who doesn’t play as much ball as some of the others. Have fun, pitch between the legs, pump fake, whatever. We’re all supporting a great cause! Last housekeeping items
3 home run limit for the team, unless you purchase a home run band, then it does not count against team limit.
Hit your own classic Ms
For each girl on the team you will be spotted 1 run.
Girls can hit 11 inch balls
220 and 240 bats allowed
1 hour time limit, or 7 innings, and/or run rule is in effect.
Please show up 30 minutes early prior to your game time.
Bracket was set on randomized wheel selection.
I just want to thank everyone for their support in putting teams in. We are still accepting items for silent auction and have some pretty slick AUTOGRAPHED CHIEFS memorabilia that we will auction off as well. Any further questions please do not hesitate to reach out!

Good afternoon everyone! Creeping up on game day! More house keeping items!
Between the EMS agency and the fire department, we have decided to have them face off as the “title” game of the tournament! There has been plenty of trash talk between the departments and thought it would make for a good game. You will not want to miss it!
We have decided to do a silent auction and are accepting donations for it as well. If you would like to donate please reach out to us and we will get something planned out. Instead of the home run derby bat as a prize, ultimately we are going to do a gift card to Smash It Sports, you can choose between a bat of your choice, weight or buy some swag. I know everyone has their brand preferences and weight choice so it’s difficult to say we’re gonna do a 28oz Miken freak and the person who wins doesn’t want it due to brand or weight. Bracket will be released the week of the tournament with a 9am start time for the tournament. Guys it’s gonna be hot so make sure to drink plenty of water and take advantage of Kona Ice being there!!
