Team Competitive Edge coaches Jackson Rudolph and The Presley Brothers are proud to announce the addition of three new athletes to the roster: Benjamin Davie, Wyatt Johnson, and Hamza Tai.
Benjamin Davie is a 14-year-old hailing from Stoughton, Wisconsin who holds a second degree black belt in freestyle karate with nine years of experience. He is a 5x NASKA national champion from 2024 and has already added to his résumé in 2025 with a grand championship win on the WSKL circuit. He is a talented athlete who also holds his school record in the 800m dash.
Wyatt Johnson, also 14 years old, is an American Chung Do Kwon black belt from Saint Simons Island, Georgia. His breakout performance on the national scene was competing in the U.S. Open Night of Victory as an underbelt. He also holds a gold medal from the World Martial Arts games. He excels in academics with multiple awards, and he enjoys skiing and wake surfing when he isn’t training martial arts.
Hamza Tai is 18 years old from Orlando, Florida and is a second degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do. A newcomer to the adult division, he has already caught attention for the high level of difficulty in his forms. He is an ATA world champion who is also successful off the mat as a recipient of an Advanced International Certificate of Education (AICE) diploma.
Fresh off a team demonstration victory at the Ocean State Grand Nationals and numerous individual wins this season, CE strengthens the squad as we approach a critical stretch of Summer tournaments on the NASKA World Tour. The coaching staff are very excited about these additions and what the future holds for Team Competitive Edge!
