Arguably some of the best deer hunting in the world! I started this venture with the intent of providing affordable hunts to the average guy who wants a real opportunity at a Midwest Giant. I want to provide you with the best hunt and experience possible, I'm a firm believer in a happy customer is a consistent customer. My name is Jacob Reese, I was born and raised in Georgia. Growing up I always

dreamed of guiding hunts and had a STRONG passion for the outdoors. I have traveled to Illinois off and on since I was 15 years old. After I saw that first monster buck, I was hooked forever! I had the opportunity to move to Illinois for work in 2018 and didn’t hesitate. After all, I love hunting big bucks too. I started this business with hopes of making this lifelong dream come to fruition, I look forward to not only trying to put you on the deer of a lifetime but to make lasting friends and connections with people who share the same passion as me.

The look you give the camera after missing a nice one..

This deer came by the same spot 4 hours after I missed him, and again yesterday.. Doesn’t appear too spooked by my whiff at 15 yards.. lol

My first year hunting with a recurve has had its challenges & frustrations on the range, but every moment in the field was a little more special. I really believe hunting with traditional gear has made me a better hunter in more ways than one. It has also taught me a few humbling lessons about patience and discipline.

As this season winds down for me, I reflect back on all of the hunts, frustrations, and victories. It was so much more than I hoped for when I started this journey. I had multiple close encounters, a few misses, first Trad kill was a perfect heart shot, and finished my year with the experience (everything but the kill) on a mature Illinois buck. Can’t ask for a much better season. Now I begin to prepare for next season, to champion the one that got away.
