We held our 2026 MCHS Swimming Awards Banquet tonight, so much has gone on this Spring & Summer it was really good to see everyone and do some catching up. We had a lot of laughs, a few tears... We missed a couple of people that couldn't make it...but we're really happy to see everyone that could.

Time to Step-Up for Coach Meade & Miss Coach (Amber).... They've been a part of the MCHS Swimming Family F O R E V E R!!!!!! or at least it seems that way to all of us.... If you have the ability to help, please consider doing so, they are very important to us personally and to our swimmers.

Congratulation to our Graduating Seniors, we've spent a lot of time with these kids over the years & we're really sad to see them go, but we are so excited to see what lies ahead for these four outstanding young man & women...

The boys 400 free relay made finals!

Currently seeded 13th going into finals!

This is the first time in school history a relay has made finals tonight. (Only 3 individuals have made it to finals in MCHS history)

Right now 400 free relay will start at 8:56 pm.

Good Luck to our MCHS Boys Swimmers in tomorrow's KHSAA State Swimming Finals. Thanks to all parents that put together a great send off and a wonderful evening for the guys.
Making the trip for Marion County are Senior Lucas Johnson, Sophomores Cadin Spalding, Cameron Knight, Kadon Willett, & Xander Lawson, 8th Graders Grady Scott & Liam Green.

🚨🚨NEW SCHOOL RECORD ALERT & HISTORY!!🚨🚨

Girls 200 freestyle relay: NEW RECORD TIME:
1:53.21
LILLIANA SAGESER, KINLEY WILLETT, REAGAN POTTER, PAILEE CONLEY

They are the FIRST EVER to become an event Regional Champion for the ladies in school history!!

This is no easy feat. In the 25-30 years of MCHS swimming, only 3 boys have ever become individual regional champs (Chad Spalding, Trey Chelf, Jackson Willett), while only 1 relay (boys 200 free relay - 2023) has accompished becoming a regional champion in school history!

The relay set the record at the Region Three Championships where they finished 1st, earning an autobid to the KHSAA State - First Round.
This relay finished 6th at site one and 31st in the State!

🚨🚨NEW SCHOOL RECORD ALERT!!🚨🚨

Girls 400 freestyle: NEW RECORD TIME:
4:11.53
LILLIANA SAGESER, KINLEY WILLETT, REAGAN POTTER, PAILEE CONLEY

These ladies finished 7th at Site one and 30th in the STATE!

The relay beat their previous best, 4:12.54, set at the Region Three Championships where they finished 2nd, earning an autobid to the KHSAA State - First Round. They beat the previous record set earlier this season by a whopping 9.87 seconds!
