Dear Iron Family,

We have had an absolute amazing almost four years with you all. We are so grateful to God for the connections and fellowship made along the way. When we set out on this journey that was our biggest goal - to use our passion for both Jesus and martial arts to come along side others and love them where they are at - in life and on the mat. And God really took that and made it special.

We are so grateful for every single one of you and your part in that journey.

But God.

Our team of instructors are being called to other seasons of life at this time. So we have prayerfully decided to close the school. God is the author of everything. He is closing this chapter of our story so He can continue writing other chapters for us.

We ask for prayer as each of us step into new seasons God has been preparing for each of us, and in turn we will be praying for all of you.

And this isn’t goodbye….so many of you have connected with us and know how to find us if you need prayer or just an open heart and ear to listen. We love you all!

We are NOT holding class this Monday 10/6, Monday 10/13, or Thursday 10/30.

We WILL hold classes otherwise until 11/13. That evening will be our last class.

Dear Iron Family,

We are over the moon excited to announce we will be reopening on Monday April 21, 2025!!

We do have several changes we wish to communicate.

Adults will have class on Mondays from 6:00-7:15 pm. This class is for ages 16 and up.

Kids classes are going to have the most change. It was a very difficult decision to make but due to lack of staffing at this time, we had to eliminate the Little Ores program from our class lineup. This means that the age group of 5-7 no longer will meet for classes.

Our new kid class times will be:

Thursdays:
ages 8-11 - 5:30-6:15
Ages 12-15 - 6:30-7:15

If you intend on coming back, we ask that you would please re-register: (there will be an email that resembles this letter and a link to register will be provided!).

Ok guys….Sorry for the lack of updates!!

We are currently waiting to hear if our room will be ready next week. If it’s not, we will still need to push opening date back.

Happy Monday everyone!

We currently are looking at a March 18th reopening timeframe.

We apologize for any inconvenience our closure has caused so far, but we truly can’t operate knowing the mats may be at risk during construction. We also are wanting to protect your bare feet from potentially getting debris from the renovation stuck in your skin.

If you have any prayer requests or just wanna say hi, drop us a line. We miss you all!

HAPPY SATURDAY!!

Firstly, we MISS you guys!

Secondly - we don’t have a reopening date YET, but what we can tell you for now is it will NOT be before 3/4/2024. We are hoping to be able to get in there for 3/4, but at the very latest, we should be in by the week after.

We initially said in the March calendar that there would be a promotion test on 3/14. There will NOT be a test that evening and we WILL be closed that evening IF we are back in full swing by then due to a church ministry event for ministry leadership.

If you guys need to know anything, please email us!

Don’t forget about our group….You can access and practice forms/self defense there! Don’t forget your forms!!!

UPDATE:

THANK YOU ALL for your patience and understanding during renovation.

We will continue to remain closed through this week AND next week.

We hope to resume on 2/19, but won’t know for sure until mid week next week (2/15-ish). We will update as soon as we know.

Due to church renovations, we will be closed Thursday 2/1 and Monday 2/5. We meet to discuss the renovation project and how it impacts our room next week. Thank you all for your grace and patience! We will update next week!

Hey everyone!

So as you all know, lately we have had some issues with the mats due to the renovation project at the church. The construction crew has been in and out of our room working.

It isn’t good for the mats - and we are waiting to hear what is going on timeline wise for how long we can expect them to be in and out of the classrooms.

For now, we have made the decision to close this Monday evening - 1/29/2024. We will be hopefully able to provide more information maybe mid next week on how we will proceed with classes during the renovation process upstairs.
