Would anyone be interested in a metal detecting rally at the end of March? Could have a barbecue and put up a few gazebos. I have a few spots in mind were there are great relics to be found. Can have live music and guest speakers. I could talk for a week about my adventures detecting lol. Putting feelers out there. We should all come together and get in the dirt. Ill make some mcmd shirts and hats. Be a great day out. Perhaps a raffle for a few new detectors.

Found a unique ring at the park today. Its a wedding set. If you can describe it I'll return it. Don't bother guessing; its very unique and Noone will guess.

FOUND RING! If you don't believe in miracles then read this. Me and the wife decided to look again at Center Square for the ring lost a few days ago. She was using a Minelab xterra with a 3'' coil. Thats like finding a needle in a haystack. I filtered out emf frequencies and ground balanced for her. She put the small coil to the ground and got a choppy signal. In all honesty the xterra is a great machine. It holds its own against the more expensive machines like the equonix and any garret. I told her forget the choppy signal and only dig the high sounds. Sure enough she found the ring first target ; on the 40th yard side line. A miracle for sure. Literally the odds are impossible. Get the coils to the soil; and get out there digging in this cool beautiful weather.

Ok fellow Marion County detectorists. Gotta ring recovery apb for ya. Lost somewhere near the 50 yard line at center square. I tried to find it but the heat got me quick. If anyone finds it let me know so I can get you the owners info. They had been out in the heat all morning looking for it. To hot for this fat boy. Going to try again around 6:30.

Found this boot plate near the park in Lebanon? That place has been hammered over the years. I bought a cheap minelab xterra and it's like a new place again. Found several cw bullets, full horse stirrup, and this boot plate. It has writing on it. Hoping to clean it up so it can be read. Any suggestions?

Anyone know what type of coin this is? I tried Google but didn't find anything.
